Food Hygiene Advice and Training

Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on the Hygiene of Foodstuffs including drinks requires that food handlers working in a food business are supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene matters relevant to their work.

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point is used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions, known as Critical Control Points (CCP's) can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of food contamination. The system is used at all stages of food production and preparation processes including packaging, distribution, etc.

Safety Support Limited can assist with updating existing procedures, alternatively we can generate bespoke formal hygiene procedures and HACCP systems which will conform with the current Food Hygiene and Safety legislative requirements.

We also offer and inspection/auditing service, which includes where required liaison with the Environmental Health Officer.
